Research

Our clients recognise the advantage of carrying out strategic research, in tandem with operational monitoring, to inform future decision-making.  Many of the commercial projects we carry out have a considerable research component.

Many of our clients, including Forestry Commission and ScottishPower, also recognise the benefits of publishing the findings of the major studies we undertake together. This is a long-term process and a large body of project data is still at pre-publication stage.

However, outputs from our first major project estimating deer abundance for the Forestry Commission are now becoming available.
