Monadhliath Deer Management Plan Review

Deer Working Group: initial thoughts

The DWG have now apparently reported to the Scottish Government, and the report is due for release any day.  Everyone in the industry now awaits their findings with a likely mix of interest and trepidation depending on their perspective.  All we hope is that the authors have produced a thorough, objective and robust piece of work that will help drive a rational, well-informed and balanced debate.  Watch this space…

Cairngorms National Park: deer abundance estimation

We’ve just been commissioned to deliver a new project on behalf of the Cairngorm National Park Authority estimating deer abundance and density across the park area.  This will be a challenging project but hopefully one which delivers some useful insights for the CNPA in advance of them refreshing their long-term park plan.  More news on this in due course…
